LEATHERWORK
Don (far left) is our leatherwork instructor, and knows what it's all about when it comes to staining, patterning,
polishing, and plaiting material which used to keep a cow's innards in. He'll take all the time necessary to ensure
you turn out an item of which you can be proud.
One form of patterning timber or leather is known as 'Pyrography,' and we'll talk about this under the heading 'Other Activities.' We have the best adaptable-temperature pyrography pens available, and the tutors to teach you how to go from painting in oils or water-colours, or sketching in pencil, to using a 'jazzed-up' soldering iron.
