Why not drop in and take a tour of
our workshop, find out what
goes on or just sit and
shoot the breeze over
a cuppa?

This old jalopy looks very attractive, and is just waiting
for an eager child's hands. She's one of the many toys, ornaments,
pieces of furniture, and other assorted creations turned out
at Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch
Mens' Shed. And such items are not as difficult to construct as they may appear. It's all a matter of using or building on skills you
already possess or on one of our more experienced craftsmen
taking you in hand and teaching you how it's done.
Some might refer to it as 'work;'
but I'd call it spending a few
otherwise-empty hours with friends.

This fancy piece of leatherwork is another example of the art-fields in which you can become involved. You'll receive
training in every step, from cutting to patterning to stitching to polishing. And if it's not enough to get you a reward
from that Certain Somebody - such as a relaxing hour at the club with your mates - then nothing will!
Training is free; all you'll pay for is the material you actually use - usually no more than a few
dollars.

So now we've told you what is available in the way of activities at Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch Mens' Shed, why not pay us a visit? We've some fifty members at present, but there's always room for more. And we've always coffee and tea on hand.
You've nothing to lose but loneliness.
